RED STAR REFILL KIT CONTENTS: Premium quality, Fade Resistant, Dye based, Anti -clog black ink -120 ml, Gloves-2 nos, tissue paper-2 nos, Syringe with blunt tip needle – 1 set. REFILLING PROCEDURE: There is a sticker on top of the cartridge. For refilling the cartridge, you have to peel/remove the sticker. If you remove the sticker, then you can see small holes. Take ink in the syringe, insert the needle through a hole, so as to just touch the sponge, and slowly inject as much ink as the sponge can absorb. Inject ink only through the hole in which you can see the sponge. To avoid leakage, put only 90% of the maximum capacity of the cartridge, as per the company specifications. After refilling, fix the sticker back. Now your cartridge is ready to use. Do not touch the copper PCB & head/nozzle of the cartridge while refilling. After refilling, If ink leaks through the nozzle, keep the cartridge on a tissue paper/news paper, so that the nozzle of the cartridge touches the paper. The excess ink in the cartridge will be absorbed by the paper. Keep the cartridge in the same position till there is no more leakage. If there is no leakage, then you can put the cartridge in the printer, run the head cleaning utility and then start printing. Refilling a dried cartridge will not produce good results.
