The AIRCAT 6260 is a 1 horsepower motor straight composite die grinder designed for heavy duty continuous applications. We made the 1 HP motor longer instead of “fatter” so its more comfortable than other 1 HP die grinders. It has the patented AIRCAT silencing technology that reduces exhaust noise down to 89 dba and very low vibration only 2.5M/sec2. The 6260 has a composite housing and ergonomic trigger for end user comfort. We use a precision collet and rear exhaust for safety. Numerous upgrades have been added to enhance the strength and durability of the tool, while maintenance and compatibility improvements make this tool easy to use and maintain.

The 3M&#8482 Die Grinder 28332 is a straight-shaft tool for use when slower tool speed is desired. It has an efficient 0.5 hp motor and enhanced comfort features, and is ideal for medium-duty applications such as deburring, buffing, and polishing. For improved productivity, the gear reduction maintains motor speed and delivers the desired speed (4,000) on the collet end. This increases torque so that operators can complete tasks faster with less energy and still maintain abrasive efficiency. The precision-balanced steel motor reduces vibration and creates a lighter weight tool, while 3M&#8482 Gripping Material on the handle further reduces vibration and enables a firm grip with less force. The adjustable directional exhaust allows airflow to be directed in any direction preferred, even toward the operator for cooling if desired. To prevent accidental starting, the grinder incorporates a safety lever throttle. Total length is 8-7/8″ and Max RPM is 4,000 at 90 psi.

A die grinder is a handheld power tool that runs spindle-mounted abrasives such as coated abrasives or nonwoven surface conditioning abrasives. Typical coated abrasive products that can be run on a die grinder include cartridge rolls for reaching tight corners and crevices, cross pads for sanding small internal diameters, and evenrun bands and flap wheels for sanding and polishing contours. Scotch-Brite &#8482 surface conditioning products typically used include radial bristle discs, combi wheels, and cross buffs for removing rust and debris from internal diameters of small cylinders. These are just a few of a multitude of products that can be run on a die grinder.

The Die Grinder 28332 requires a clean lubricated air supply that will give a measured air pressure at the tool of 6.2 bar (90 psi) when the tool is running with the lever fully depressed so the maximum RPM is not exceeded. The tool can be run at lower pressures but should never be run higher than 6.2 bar (90 psi). If run at a lower pressure the performance of the tool is reduced. For pneumatic power to the tool, an approved 10 mm (3/8 inch) x 8 m (25 feet) maximum length airline is recommended. The tool must be connected to an airline system with an easily accessible air shut off valve. It is strongly recommended that an air filter, regulator, and lubricator (FRL) be used to supply clean, lubricated air at the correct pressure to the tool. An appropriate air pressure regulator must be used at all times while operating this tool when the supply pressure exceeds the marked maximum of the tool, 4,000 RPM.
